I am on a tight budget. My dad just informed that I may have to pay for the flowers in my wedding. The flowers includes, my bouquet, 9 girls that would need bouquets, plus the parents and grandparent. Lets not forget the buttoners for the groom and groomsmen. How can I do this without paying $500.
One more thing. The $500 is for fake flowers.

Breezer asked:
I love red roses, but am not willing to spend a fortune for a bouquet that I will throw away after my reception. I am the type of person that thinks some grocery and garden centers have just as pretty, if not prettier flowers, so I want to get flowers at a store like this. Can anyone give me a tip? I am staying at a hotel on the strip, so would need a place kinda close.

I want the look of flowers but not the price (where I live the cheapest is $250) and I’m on a very tight budget. I was wondering if there is any way I can have flowers that look great without the price tag. I want to only spend maybe 100. I have 3 bridesmaids, 3 grooms men, and one flower girl. I also want the groom to have a flower or something, the 2 moms and the 2 grandmoms. Any ideas? I dont really want to use fake flowers either. Its an outdoor wedding

My wedding is in 3 months, and I’m looking at buying silks for the attendant bouquets, my bridal bouquet, some altar and centerpieces, and flower girl petals. I’ve looked into a few websites, but wanted to see if anyone has personal experience before making my decision. I’m looking for pre-arranged bouquets.

Cdubber asked: I’m working on planning my wedding for October of 2009. I’m not crazy about flowers, and I would rather save some money in that area and spend it on something else like pictures.
Any tips for inexpensive yet nice flowers? My bridesmaid dresses are a purple color (real purple-like the crayon!) and i was thinking deep red/magenta, yellow and orange.
Thank you!
Zion
